Denver, Colorado: From a Former Local

Denver is one of the best places to visit for a long weekend! It's only a 2-4 hour flight from almost anywhere in the country and has a lot to offer.

The RiNo district is on the northeast corner of downtown. It is known for its jazz clubs, art murals, and fun cocktail bars!


Lo-Hi is filled with cute boutiques, parks, and trendy restaurants. It is perfect for those that want to get out of downtown, but don't want to go to the suburbs.


Cherry Creek is located 15 minutes southeast of Denver. It is known for its restaurants, shopping, and walkability! In addition, it is only a few minutes from Washington Park - dubbed "Wash Park" by locals.


Downtown Denver is about 25 miles west of the airport and is accessible by car or train. Staying downtown is perfect for sports lovers, culture seekers, and connoisseurs.
